Our basic fit focuses on the primary fit parameters of your bike including seat height, handle bar height, seat for and aft and angle adjust, lever position etc... without necessitating any major part changes or adjustments.
The cost of our basic fit is £50 and typically takes less than an hour.
Our advanced fit is designed to achieve give you the maximum performance advantage by perfecting the adjustment between you and your bike to give you a comfortable, efficient and powerful pedalling platform on the bike. Our advanced fit is perfect for more advanced road, cyclocross or mountain bike riders who are looking to achieve maximum efficiency on the bike for training and racing or for riders looking to address more complicated fit related issues such as extreme saddle discomfort, knee, hand or back issues etc... It is also recommended for riders with other injury related fit issues.
Like our basic fit, our advanced fit focuses on the primary fit parameters of your bike including seat height, handle bar height, seat for and aft and angle adjust, lever position etc... but it goes into greater detail to make millimetre perfect adjustment of all you basic contact points plus a detailed view into cleat adjustment, stem length, bar and saddle width, saddle shape, stack height, crank lentgh and more...
The cost of our advanced fit is £100 and takes approximately 2-3hrs.
While bike manufacturers do their best to spec components appropriately sized for each bike size it is common that we will recommend a change in stem length, stem height, handlebar width and/or saddle style, shape and width to achieve correct fit for your bike or riding style.
With road, cyclocross, gravel and other drop bar bikes it is common that an change in stem length or bar width will require installation of longer/shorter gear and brake cables and re-wrapping of bar tape. In rarer instances a change in crank length, seatpost setback or other more involved parts changes may be necessary. The cost of any parts and additional labour necessary to install these parts is not included in the quoted prices for our fits.
